An Introduction to Mountain Biking – 18th June 2010
Racing795 is hosting a leisure Mountain Bike spin at 7pm on Friday 18th June along the waymarked walking trails at Kilbrannish, Co Carlow (near Mt Leinster).
Aimed at anyone who is interested in mountain biking, this event will be a leisurely cycle over undulating forest roads, with fabulous views of Mount Leinster and the surrounding countryside. You can decide your own pace but allow about 1-2 hours altogether.
We will have experienced mountain bikers on hand to give advice and support. Refreshments will be provided afterwards – weather permitting.
POINTS TO NOTE :
You will need a mountain bike (wide knobbly tyres) in good working order.
Helmets MUST be worn.
This event is not suitable for children under 12.
We will have drinks on the night but it’s worth bringing a bottle of water as backup.
The meeting point will be the new carpark at the walking trailhead at Kilbrannish – Google Map
Register your interest here to help give us an idea of numbers.
Contact Us if you have any questions
This is a National Bike Week event. Racing795 would like to thank Coillte and Carlow County Council for their support.
