The Pinnnacle of every tri-athletes career, the longest day, the ultimate test – call it what you will but there is only one word – Ironman.
This Sunday sees two of Racing795’s elder statesmen, Jim Furlong and James Bodels tackle the ultimate distance as they line up in the Barcelona Challenge Ironman Triathlon.
After months of training the day looms large. The training is done, all the preparations have been made, injury scares dealt with, bikes boxed, calorie consumption calculated, and sunblock packed. Bon Voyage and best of luck to the lads as they tackle this ultimate test in endurance. We look forward to hearing the stories.
Also best of luck to Barry, David and Tony who are also tackling the Ironman distance – in relay – good luck lads.
